Speaker: Dr. Peter Standish

 Hands-on experience with

Risk Management Case Studies

Peter has worked in the minerals sector for 30 years and has been actively consulting in risk management (RM) for 12 years. He has a Mining Engineering, Operations and RM background and has worked for government, industry leaders and advisory groups in the areas of operations & project management and technical studies. Peter is one of the co-founders of SP Solutions and works as a technical specialist for the team including conducting Quantitative Risk Analysis, HAZOPs, Safety Case Studies and the application of other specific risk analysis tools.

Program:

AM Session: Peter will facilitate a workshopping session following his presentation using a case-study. His presentation and the workshop session will run from 9.30am until 12noon.

PM Session: There will be review of the workshop outcomes from 12 noon until 12.30pm when lunch will be taken. Following lunch workshop/seminar participants are invited to interactively participate in panel discussion regarding risk management compliance of participant’s individual firms from approx. 1.30pm until close at 3.00pm.

Everyone is welcome whether you are a CIRCEA member or not.
